The news of the breakup of Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor came as a rude shock to their fans as the two seemed to be going quite strong. Despite the constraints in their personal relations, Katrina and Ranbir came together for the promotions of Jagga Jasoos and were cordial with each other.
However, eventually, Ranbir moved on as he found love again in Alia Bhatt, while Katrina is only concentrating on her work at present. During her cover shoot with Vogue magazine, the diva opened up about the changes in her life post the split up with Ranbir.
“It’s probably one of the first times in my life where I really had only myself to focus on. And when you focus on yourself, often, the first thing you realize is that you don’t really know yourself. It’s like a period of not knowing, a period of being uncomfortable because you’re seeing yourself in your raw form without embellishments and then accepting that you don’t really know who you are,” she said.
Having developed a positive outlook in life, Katrina further said, “I now see it as a blessing because I was able to recognize my patterns, thought processes and things that I had been so sure of my whole life. I could see them from a whole different perspective.”
The superstar also added that she does not believe in having regrets in life. “It’s the single-most useless emotion on the planet. Whatever decision you make at that time in your life, it’s the best decision you could have made at that moment. That’s why you made it! Now, it’s hindsight. Of what use is hindsight?”
On the professional front, Katrina is gearing up for the release of Zero which also features Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Post that, she will be seen with Salman Khan in Bharat.
