Zero: Katrina’s Husn Parcham wouldn’t even let you blink

And Katrina Kaif has done it again. The reigning queen of the dance numbers has once again left the audience amazed with her moves in the latest song from Zero – Husn Parcham. Katrina, who is playing a superstar named Babita Kumari in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer, is certainly a sight to behold in the song which has her grooving like never before.

Yet another Ajay-Atul composition, Husn Parcham has been sung by Bhoomi Trivedi and Raja Kumari, whereas Irshad Kamil has penned the catchy lyrics. The song has blasted the Internet as it has garnered over 4 million views within the few hours of its release.

Katrina tryst with dance tracks started with Sheila Ki Jawani from Tees Maar Khan, which eventually turned out to be a bigger hit than the film. Post that, she has scorched the big screen several times with songs like Chikni Chameli from Agneepath, Kamli from Dhoom 3, Kala Chashma from Baar Baar Dekho, Swag Se Swagat from Tiger Zinda Hai and most recently, Suraiyya from Thugs Of Hindostan.

The superstar shared her experience of doing a film like Zero at the song launch where she was present with her director Aanand L Rai and choreographer Bosco. She said, “I feel fortunate today to be working in a film like this, to be part of the film with the kind of talent that we have — from Aanand sir, to Shah Rukh and to Anushka (Sharma). I think as long as I am getting the opportunity to showcase, learn and take my art forward with the best people that we have today in the film industry, I am really grateful.”

On being asked what is different about Husn Parcham, Katrina said, “I think for me, the biggest difference in this song is that Aanand sir came on the sets on one of the days and said, ‘I want my audience to see this character as the happiest woman in the world’. She doesn’t care about the world and she is having super-good time and that is always something which is good to remember.”

Well, Katrina’s energy will further up the already high excitement levels for Zero which is slated to hit the screens on December 21.
